Fatheuer in Hamm: ready to go<\/h1>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Official pre-acceptance of the building materials trade has taken place<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n

SHA Scheffler Helbich Architects and METZGER building materials<\/span><\/a> – have been working together in a spirit of trust for decades. The latest project, the new Wilhelm Fatheuer building materials store, can now go into operation ahead of schedule from August following successful preliminary acceptance by the authorities. The new professional specialist store in Hamm, North Rhine-Westphalia, not only houses the showroom but also modern administration and office space, as well as an additional cold store and a spacious loading zone. “When we are commissioned again by our clients, it is of course a nice confirmation for our architectural office,” says authorized signatory Volker Kaminsky, who is the first point of contact for METZGER building materials at SHA.<\/p>\n

The previous specialist store at the same location had become too small and will soon be demolished. The new building for Fatheuer Hoch\/Tief\/TrockenBaustoffe was made possible by the acquisition of the adjacent property. Around 500 m\u00b2 of sales, exhibition and consulting space will now be available here for discerning professional customers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>

The outdoor storage area was also redesigned. There is also over 200 m\u00b2 of outdoor exhibition space.<\/p>\n

Construction started in fall 2019. The work was carried out by the companies Br\u00fcninghoff GmbH & Co KG and Hugo Schneider GmbH.<\/p>\n

By the way: SHA supports Metzger throughout Germany. In 1978, over 40 years ago, Peter Scheffler, then owner of the architectural firm, and Karl Ernst Metzger, founder of today’s Metzger Group, laid the foundation for SHA’s success story in the building materials trade<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

In 2006, SHA developed a sample corporate design for METZGER Baustoffe: a modular system that is adapted and implemented according to the prevailing conditions on the site. Fatheuer Hoch\/Tief\/TrockenBaustoffe with its striking red fa\u00e7ade is now an eye-catcher from afar.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>
