Being out and about by bike is so much more than just another way of getting around. Cycling is a sport and a hobby, an environmentally conscious alternative to the car – and above all: it’s fun. Innovative companies have long been offering their employees a job bike. The technical development towards ever lighter e-bikes with slim motors and the introduction of cargo bikes are giving the industry an additional boost. There are also new mobility concepts in the municipalities; bike stations and denser bike path networks make it easy to switch to bikes.<\/p>\n

SHA has been accompanying this development for over 25 years. During this time, two-wheel centers<\/a> based on our plans were built all over Germany. Together with our clients, we were able to decisively drive and shape the transformation of the sales outlets. Our designs not only focus on the size of the sales areas, but also take into account the changing conditions for logistics and workshop areas. At the same time, the joint search for land is just as much a part of our tasks as project development with land division, preparation for construction and assistance in the creation of development plans.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>

In a new building, the basic functional relationships between sales, warehousing and workshop are developed in an ideal way and brought together with the client’s individual ideas. Key requirements for the architectural structures are based on special logistical and performance-optimizing features. These include, for example, the requirement for a “one-dimensional flow of goods”, the visual and architectural emancipation of sales and the (repair) workshop or the contemporary integration of new bike assembly into the operational process. This creates space for a wide range of products and the best service.<\/p>\n
