Laying of the foundation stone for building section III at Phoenix West<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n

The foundation stone ceremony for the next construction phase, Building III of PhoenixWERK, took place on 21.11.2022.<\/p>\n

“Even after 2.5 years in Building II, my personal highlight is the view of the Phoenixhalle, the Schalthaus, the gasometer, the cooling towers and, of course, the blast furnace. This characterful location is absolutely unique and not often found outside Dortmund.” emphasized client and our Managing Director Christoph Helbich. Component III will continue the open character and also open up to the historic backdrop with large window elements.<\/p>\n

Technically, the building will meet the KfW40 sustainability standard. In times of energy crisis, we are proud to announce that instead of fossil fuels, the building is cooled and heated with electricity from our own photovoltaic system using state-of-the-art heat pump technology. Smart building technology also helps to save energy and still offer a high level of comfort in the offices.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>

Completion is planned for the end of 2023. More than half of the rental space has already been let and talks are already underway for the remaining space.<\/p>\n

“This is a positive signal for this location, which has changed enormously in recent years. 10 years ago, hardly anyone could have imagined the development on this scale,” added Heike Marzen, Managing Director of the Dortmund Economic Development Agency. The investors are continuing an outstanding project here, which not only benefits from the open concept of the quarter, but also contributes to the densification of the neighborhood and attracts additional visitors. In the evenings and at weekends in particular, there is lively interaction with the operations of the new Phoenix des Lumi\u00e8res and the Dortmund Bergmannbrauerei. This will further enliven the square.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>
