Professional training conditions for professional youth soccer
SHA develops implementation options for a new youth training center for Bundesliga soccer club VfL Bochum
Congratulations to VfL Bochum on staying in the first division! After a magnificent comeback last night, VfL Bochum secured their place in the relegation play-off against Fortuna Düsseldorf and will therefore continue to play in the Bundesliga next season. We are delighted that Bochum have remained in the league and are proud to support VfL in future construction projects in order to achieve further sporting success.
New youth performance center
A new youth training center for VfL Bochum’s boys’ and girls’ teams, including various natural grass pitches, stands and other construction measures, is to be built on Hiltroper Straße. In order to push ahead with the planning, our team is currently working on various implementation options to supplement the existing training facilities south of Hiltroper Straße.
Diverse implementation measures planned
The existing VfL-Talentwerk will be expanded so that the young players and other club employees will have access to training rooms and overnight accommodation in addition to cabins and recreation areas. Existing car parking spaces will also be enlarged in line with the larger parking space requirements. Natural grass pitches to the north of Hiltroper Straße complement the existing soccer pitches to the south. A new greenkeeping building to be erected in the immediate vicinity of the sports pitches will be able to accommodate the machinery and equipment required for turf maintenance. The new and existing soccer pitches will be complemented by a total of three covered stands, allowing spectators to attend training sessions and competitions protected from the weather.
Performance center for young boys and girls
The new youth training center to be built on Hiltroper Straße will provide young players with the best conditions for developing their soccer skills at a professional level.
