Fatheuer in Hamm: ready to go

SHA Scheffler Helbich Architects and METZGER building materials – have been working together in a spirit of trust for decades. The latest project, the new Wilhelm Fatheuer building materials store, can now go into operation ahead of schedule from August following successful preliminary acceptance by the authorities. The new professional specialist store in Hamm, North Rhine-Westphalia, not only houses the showroom but also modern administration and office space, as well as an additional cold store and a spacious loading zone. “When we are commissioned again by our clients, it is of course a nice confirmation for our architectural office,” says authorized signatory Volker Kaminsky, who is the first point of contact for METZGER building materials at SHA.

The previous specialist store at the same location had become too small and will soon be demolished. The new building for Fatheuer Hoch/Tief/TrockenBaustoffe was made possible by the acquisition of the adjacent property. Around 500 m² of sales, exhibition and consultation space will now be available here for discerning professional customers.
