Monument protection in sports facility construction
In 2014, we converted three cinder pitches into artificial turf pitches in the listed Hoeschpark in Dortmund. In addition to the American football pitch for the Dortmund Giants, a recreational football pitch and a small pitch have been created. This has resulted in several consultancy assignments for sports clubs for the conversion to artificial turf pitches.
“We are pleased to be able to support smaller clubs on their way to professional training facilities in this way,” explains Jonas Schwarzenhölzer, architect in the construction management team and responsible for the artificial turf projects.
