The first apprentice in SHA history
Chiara becomes a draftswoman
As of today, SHA Scheffler Helbich Architekten GmbH is training to become a draftsman (m/f/d)! Our planning office in Dortmund advertised a trainee position for the first time. After a one-week internship and “taster session” in the spring, it was clear: Chiara Tenhumberg would be the first trainee in SHA’s almost 95-year history.
Your focus will be on planning and building law and will involve a wide range of tasks. The apprenticeship lasts three years – and began today with a big hello from the team and the handover of a school bag filled to the brim with all kinds of useful things for the next few years.
It is not uncommon for qualified draughtsmen and draughtswomen to go on to study architecture. Marc Horstmeier, authorized signatory at SHA and responsible for the qualification of young professionals: “I myself and four other colleagues from the planning department completed training as draughtsmen before studying. We benefit from these principles time and again in our day-to-day work.”
With this in mind: Welcome to the team, dear Chiara!
