BAUHAUS specialist center in Düsseldorf-Rath

The new BAUHAUS specialist center in Düsseldorf-Rath is already the fourth location in the North Rhine-Westphalian state capital. With a total area of over 18,000 m², the specialist center offers enough space for over 160,000 products in 15 different specialist departments. The new specialist center was supplemented by a 3,500 m² DRIVE-IN ARENA to enable customers to easily load building materials and large-volume products into their cars. The city garden, which has also been newly built, offers a wide range of plants and tools for the home garden on an area of over 4,300 m².
Memorable building envelope
The newly constructed site is enclosed by a high-quality metal embossed sheet façade, in which the BAUHAUS company logo can be found in various sizes.
Wide range of climate-friendly measures
During the construction of the BAUHAUS specialist center, numerous precautions were taken to reduce the climatic impact of the new building project. Parking spaces for charging electric cars have also been provided in the large customer parking lot. An extensive green roof promotes inner-city biodiversity at the new location, and a photovoltaic system has also been installed on the roof of the specialist center to ensure that electricity requirements are met with locally produced, climate-neutral electricity.
