One of the largest building materials and timber trading companies in Germany has been created on an operating area of 100,000 m². The Beinbrech timber and building materials center in Bad Kreuznach was expanded and modernized in 13 months during ongoing operations. In 2009, SHA won an invitational competition and impressed the client with the concept to such an extent that two further specialist stores in Bad Sobernheim (2009-2011) and Mainz (2012-2013) were implemented in advance. The key to the winning competition entry was the overall logistical concept.
The well thought-out solution can both absorb further expansion and offer good logistical processes to optimize and speed up work processes.
Everything under one roof
In Bad Kreuznach, a large specialist store with exhibition space and administration has been built on around 4,000 m². At the same time, the existing warehouses for building materials and timber trading were expanded from 7,500 m² to more than 25,000 m². The spacious loading zone and outdoor facilities round off the project.
SHA has been supporting Beinbrech since the mid-nineties.
