Extension and modernization

After two years of construction, the two office towers at the headquarters of the Eurobaustoff cooperation are shining in new splendor as a representative and open service campus.

The existing building from the 1990s was extensively renovated and extended in two construction phases. All fixtures and fittings were removed and instead bright and friendly office zones were created around an open and inviting communal area in accordance with the latest standards. Glass partitions and a flexible floor plan layout encourage communication.

The first floor was also completely gutted and renovated. Seminar rooms and a canteen are grouped around an open and inviting entrance zone. The counter area is the point of contact for visitors and provides access to the building.

By designing everything from the architectural concept to the furnishing of the lounges, group areas and the reception area, SHA has succeeded in developing a holistic concept for the building.

The western tower 1 still has four storeys, including the first floor. The addition of two storeys creates space for new and modern office zones. The new storey was added in continuation of the existing building with a solid concrete core and a solid ceiling on a steel frame. The elegant façade emphasizes the new verticality and brings more light into the offices with floor-to-ceiling windows. The extension is a lightweight construction. Glass partitions to the corridor make the entire floor appear transparent and friendly despite the solid core.
