Grand opening of Building III of the PhoenixWERK office complex
The new building blends harmoniously into the impressive backdrop of Phoenix West and adds another piece of the puzzle to the ensemble.
When the idea for the ensemble first emerged in 2014, Phoenix West was still in the early stages of its development. Today, years later, we can look back on impressive growth. The Bergmannbrauerei, Phoenix de Lumieres in the neighborhood. Projects such as NordWest, Bechtle, Amprion, Materna and many others have set up shop here. The PhoenixWERK is part of this success story and has found its place as a scaled addition to the historic structures of the blast furnace, the gasometer and the Phoenixhallen.
“The successful implementation of the project in this quality would not have been possible without the cooperative partnership with the business development agency and Carsten Scherer from Remira,” says Christoph Helbich. Together, the plot was optimally divided up and an architectural ensemble was created that respects and complements the existing structure.
The third office building inaugurated today, built in cooperation with Johann Jaeger of the Jaeger Group, continues to set the highest standards. The design integration into the existing architecture, the spacious office areas and the sustainable energy supply through a double heat pump and photovoltaic system underline the architectural office’s claim to quality and innovation.
The new tenants are Methodenschmiede, InterLog Management and Planersocietät and will further contribute to the growth of the location. What is still missing is a café or bakery, which could be perfectly established in the vacant catering space on the first floor.
All in all, the Phoenixwerk on PhoenixWest is not just a building, but a living testimony to innovation, cooperation and the positive development of the site.
