TOTAL E-QUALITY in the Ruhr Metropolis" campaign

Ten-year anniversary

In 2020, SHA Scheffler Helbich Architekten GmbH was awarded the “TOTAL E-QUALITY” award for the first time. To award the prize, an independent jury evaluates the voluntary activities of the companies to improve equal opportunities for women and men on the basis of an extensive list of questions. The “TOTAL E-QUALITY in the Ruhr Metropolis” campaign has now celebrated its 10th anniversary.

The 27 award winners from the Ruhr metropolis joined the initiators and guests from business and politics to toast the great success in March. Dortmund’s Lord Mayor Thomas Westphal welcomed the many representatives from companies, administrations and associations in the region to the Dietrich-Keuning-Haus and was pleased about the joint commitment and the constantly growing TOTAL E-QUALITY network in Dortmund and the surrounding area. Birgit and Christoph Helbich were also among the guests.

More and more companies like SHA are recognizing the importance of equality- and diversity-oriented HR work and have successfully applied for the nationwide “TOTAL E-QUALITY” award over the past ten years.

For the City of Dortmund, the award-winning companies show that equal opportunities and diversity are key quality features of a modern HR policy. This makes the award winners important multipliers in the region.

After a successful first ten years, it is clear that the campaign will be continued. The Equal Opportunities Office of the City of Dortmund, the Economic Development Agency and the Dortmunder Forum Frau und Wirtschaft e.V. will primarily promote the further networking of the regional award winners and strengthen the visibility of the campaign.
