Planning great things from experience
Short, medium and long-term planning
Long-term corporate strategies require future-oriented planning. A successful company not only sees the here and now, but must also plan ahead in order to effectively utilize development opportunities and potential. That is exactly what we do. For our clients, we always look a little further afield and see every task as a building block in a larger context. What will demand be like in the short, medium and long term? Can synergies be created or can existing ones be optimized? These are all questions that perhaps go beyond the traditional planning task, but which we take for granted.
Particularly in the field of industrial and commercial construction, good architecture is based on the function it is intended to fulfill. With our industry-specific expertise, SHA is your partner if you want to optimize material and goods flows – for example in production or logistics halls. It is important for us to understand and internalize your company, its processes and requirements. If we succeed, the result will speak for itself in the end.
“Our architecture firm stands for the combination of logistics processes and architecture. Medium-sized clients, for whom not all logistical processes are automated, need individual solutions. This is where we come in, advising and scrutinizing until we arrive at an ideal solution in terms of construction and logistics. Ultimately, we want to optimize material and goods flows and make everything ‘flow’,” says Marc Horstmeier, authorized signatory at SHA.
We anticipate development steps! One example of this is the collaboration with Murtfeldt Kunststoffe. The Dortmund-based company is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of guide systems and sliding, wear-resistant plastics. When Murtfeldt took over a neighboring former factory site, the management commissioned SHA to draw up a master plan to develop an optimal long-term structure for the future use of the site. The first step was to convert and extend part of the existing halls for the subsidiary Murdotec.
By the way: Murtfeldt has been relying on our planning and advice for many years. Since 2007, we have planned various new construction and conversion measures, which included both an expansion and modernization of the administration as well as a restructuring of the production and storage areas.
