Steel, wood, plants and a pleasant microclimate: a special parking garage with a green façade is being built in Dortmund according to SHA’s plans. The concept upgrades an inner-city wasteland into a green, sustainable inner space with a positive ecological footprint.
SHA is supporting the Dortmund-based transmission system operator Amprion in the construction of an office and conference building on Robert-Schuman-Straße. The foundation stone has now been ceremoniously laid.
Something is happening in Dortmund’s port: the former warehouse building at Speicherstrasse 2 will soon become the “Lensing Media Port”. The demolition of an old two-storey extension began last week.
Building sections I and II of the PhoenixWERK were just the beginning: the building application for building section III on Konrad-Zuse-Strasse has now been submitted. Contemporary offices with spacious meeting rooms are also being created here. There is also space for a further gastronomic offer. Completion is planned for 2023.

SHA’s sustainable and versatile design in the planning competition for a four-court sports hall in Dortmund’s Unionviertel district has been awarded a prize.
“We want to offer our customers, tenants, our team and the leisure public at Phoenix West a well thought-out concept with the neighborhood parking lot that takes into account the many aspects of the broad topic of mobility,” says Christoph Helbich.
Great joy for SHA: the PhoenixWERK office ensemble has received the coveted “Dortmund Hamm Unna 2020 Architecture Award”.
Setting an example against violence against women – that is the message of “Orange your City”. The PhoenixWERK also lit up for this purpose.
At the end of November, striking buildings are lit up in orange to send out a signal against violence against women. PhoenixWERK is there.
